The Indian Economy | Bhartiya Arthvyavastha (Marathi Edition)
About the Book
This is the Marathi edition of the bestselling book ‘The Indian Economy’ by Dr. Sanjiv Verma. The book is based on the new pattern and latest syllabus of the UPSC (Main) and is also highly beneficial for aspirants preparing for Maharashtra State Civil Services (MPSC) Exam.
A salient feature of the new syllabus of both UPSC as well as MPSC is that papers have become multidisciplinary and interlinked. This book attempts to elucidate all the topics those are related to economics, irrespective of the paper as per the latest syllabus. The main benefit of reading this book is to develop conceptual clarity, identify issues and probable remedial measures rather than a mere collation of facts on Indian economy.
It is our immense pleasure to present this thoroughly revised and updated edition of the enlightening book for IAS and state PCS aspirants meticulously translated by Shri Devyani Deshpande. There have been sincere efforts to maintain the precision, brevity, and philosophy of the original text. The same ease of learning has been kept in mind while updating and adding new concepts, policies and implementation being initiated by the Government of India in the economy in the following chapters:
- About New India.
- New India
- Poverty and Social Sector
- Government Financing and Banking
- Foreign Trade Policy
- Food Security.
- Sustainable Development and Climate Change.
- Agricultural Sector
- Land Reforms
- Industrial Sector and Liberalization.
- Infrastructure Development... are few to be named
